We have rented from Mavi for the last 3 years. Honestly, they have been the best landlords we've ever had. Mavi didn't raise our rent, even though they easily could have, especially in this crazy rental market. While all of our friends were moving because their rent was going up, we continued to underpay -- we've been really grateful for this. The condo we've been renting has had a few issues, but that is to be expected when renting. All issues were resolved within a reasonable period of time, and at no cost or hassle to us. Maintenance staff were friendly and helpful, and most of them could fix things without us having to be present. When the apartment needed to be shown or inspected, we always had at least a week's notice. Mike and the entire staff have been friendly and actually answer the phone when you call. The accounting department is responsive and it's very easy and convenient to pay rent online with a check or a credit card. The only reason we're leaving is because our unit is being sold. Otherwise, we would not move. I am so sad to leave our condo! We loved our condo and we've loved renting from Mavi. We're really going to miss it! I would highly recommend Mavi to friends and family -- they lease apartments, homes, and condos all over the place, so check them out!

I'm really surprised with the negative reviews for Mavi. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them. I just re-signed my lease with them and couldn't be happier. I thought Jeremy was great when he showed me the place and went out of his way to help me on a Saturday when the office was closed. Everyone in the office has been great too. Whenever I call they are always polite and professional. When I first moved in I had a special circumstance that they offered to talk to the home owners and get resolved for me. They really went above and beyond for me which I really appreciated.

Maintenance issues have been care of immediately also. I got a cute place that the owners actually took care of and I plan to do the same. It sounds like some of these bad reviews have bad owners that didn't want to fork over the money to fix their units. As for the carpet cleaning issue, they state very clearly upfront that you need to use a certain company to get your carpets cleaned when you move out. I think I even had to sign a paper acknowledging this. So I don't know why people are so surprised with that. Overall I have been very happy renting from Mavi and would absolutely recommend them to others.
